In the beginning…

A young Cindy Arnold learned silk screen printing in art class at Fletcher High School in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Not long after graduating, she was married and by 1987 had three children. She was printing shirts and hats for her softball league on a small hobby press. Everyone loved the quality of her work and it was clear there was an opportunity to turn this side hustle into a career. So she borrowed $2000 from family to purchase some proper screen printing equipment. Now she just needed a business name. Along with the slogan “Our prints speak for themselves” she named her company Silkscreams and the rest is history.

Cindy screen printed custom shirts and hats through the nineties and into the new millennium, adding embroidery, heat pressing, and vinyl lettering along the way. Her now five children are the current face of Silkscreams and all play an integral part of the company’s passionate workforce. They care deeply about maintaining the quality work and excellent customer service Cindy started all those years ago.
